Three Graves 15

The sorrow of powerlessness cannot be understood by others.

Lin Chen actually had too many questions to follow up with Xing Cong Lian.

For example, why would a city level police participate in an investigation related to an international case like genocide Or what kind of genocide could cast a shadow in Wang Chao’s heart, even today The question, when it comes down to it, will turn into the simplest two questions.

Who is he, and who the heck are you

But in the end, he didn’t ask anything, just like Xing Cong Lian hasn’t to him.

The next morning, he was awoken by a shriek once again.

“Ahhhhh!!!”

Little comrade Wang Chao had woken up, and was currently staring up at furnishings in the room, face full of shock.

Lin Chen walked over to him, barefoot, and reached out to touch his forehead.

Thankfully, it wasn’t hot.

It wasn’t until the ice cold fingertips touched his forehead that the boy came back to his senses.

“Big hotel, holy ** big hotel!”

Lin Chen pinched his soft cheeks and asked, “Are you alright”

“So fancy, so fancy, so fancy!” Wang Chao hopped up from the floor and ran to the window.

He tried to open the floor-to-ceiling curtains, but the curtain hooks didn’t budge an inch.

“Oh, oh, oh, it’s electric!” The boy started turning the place upside down for the remote.

Lin Chen stood aside with his arms around himself.

Xing Cong Lian walked out of the second bedroom, rubbing his eyes, sleepily asking, “What’s up with the little tyke now”

“Probably a sympathetic nerve activity disorder caused by the self-healing of childhood trauma”

Xing Cong Lian: “…”

“Boss, are you finally rich!”

Wang Chao finally found the remote.

Turning around and seeing Xing Cong Lian, he happily pressed the power button.

The curtains moved slowly towards both sides of the room, revealing miles of water.

Under the rising sun, the mist was like a veil, and the surface of the water was sparkling.

Xing Cong Lian yawned and smacked the back of Wang Chao’s head.

“Bull**, I’ve always been rich, okay!”

“Then can we get breakfast I want a big lobster!”

The boy didn’t even realize he’d been smacked in the head.

Without waiting for a response, he spread himself on the coffee table, looking for a breakfast menu.

Of course, Australian lobster wasn’t available for breakfast.

However, fluffy croissants and tasty chicken and mushroom soup could still soothe an empty stomach and a wounded spirit.

Wang Chao ordered one of everything on the menu, including three different drinks.

Then he buried his head and vigorously started eating.

Lin Chen made a cup of black tea and sat next to him.

The morning light was great.

The satisfied grin on the boy’s face was also great.

Xing Cong Lian ate two pieces of bread in a row.

He then appeared to have thought of something, and asked suddenly, “Have you thought about who will come to replace you”

Wang Chao had his mouth full of bacon.

He couldn’t respond for a second, only staring at him blankly.

“I heard blackjack was pretty famous, how about him”

“Holy ** that timid child can’t even type well alright!” The boy vigorously swallowed his food and replied angrily.

“Didn’t you say you wouldn’t investigate something related to the  deepweb”

“When did I say that

“Yesterday, when we were eating.”

“But Ah Chen has already cured me!”

“Your vitality sure is strong…”

“Alright, alright, stop talking nonsense.

You can also rest assured, handing this case to an idiot like bj.” Little comrade Wang Chao waved his hand.

Biting down on a croissant, he crawled in front of the computer, “I’m going to start working.

Isn’t it just some stupid video!”

Xing Cong Lian shrugged, yet he saw Lin Chen look at him with an intriguing gaze.

“You’re bluffing to him.” Lin Chen said softly, taking a sip of his tea.

“Children, right I have to spur him on occasionally.

How could it be right for him to want to pack up at every small problem” Captain Xing said righteously.

It’s like a baguette that had been devoured, or a cream soup that didn’t have a single drop left, yesterday’s haze seemed to have been swallowed completely.

After breakfast ended, Lin Chen received a call from Fu Hao, asking him to meet in the school’s office.

“Brother, come early.

Remember to bring Wang Ji’s crepe from the front of the school for me!”

“Did you find all the files”

“Of course!”
